Jade will share tools and resources available to aid in successful outdoor learning, with a focus on enjoying, exploring, and learning in nature. Whether you are a teacher, informal educator, parent or recreational leader, this workshop will connect you to tools and resources available to enhance and inspire others to play and learn outdoors.

is a Physical Geographer, Environmental Educator, Outdoor Instructor, and Guide based in Revelstoke, BC. Originally from the UK, Jade has called the traditional and unceded territories of the Sinixt, the Ktunaxa, the Secwepemc, and the Okanagan Syilx home since 2016.Jade Harvey-Berrill

She has been designing and delivering environmental education programs for over 15 years, across four continents and seven countries. She runs Outreach and Events for the Columbia Basin Environmental Education Network (CBEEN), The Outdoor Learning Store, and Take Me Outside alongside her own educational consultancy ‘Stoked on Science’.

A passionate hiker, biker, climber, and skier, Jade has made sharing a passion for the outdoors whilst educating about science, interconnecting natural systems, and the general wonder of the world around us her number one priority.
