About This Event

This presentation will discuss the collaborative effort to improve wildlife‘s ability to safely cross Interstate 40 in the Pigeon River Gorge. This is just outside the boundaries of Great Smoky Mountains National Park. We will discuss the research, some of the findings, and environmental education efforts associated with the project.

Presenters: Jeffery Hunter Jeff Hunter is senior program manager with National Parks Conservation Association. In that capacity he’s responsible for addressing park threats in national parks found in the Southern Appalachian mountains.

Registration Information Webinar registration is free and open to anyone to attend, but is limited to 100 participants. Use this link to access registration.

Webinar will qualify for Criteria III and continuing education for NC DEQ EE Certificate.

A recording of the webinar will be sent to all registered participants afterward.  It will also be posted on EENC's Member Resources page - so if you're an EENC member and not able to attend during the scheduled time, no need to register!
