About This Event
Beyond Four Walls is an 8-hour hydbrid workshop designed to help practitioners explore and experience best practices in outdoor teaching and experiential learning through research, peer teaching and collaboration, and reflective discussion.
This workshop is for folks looking for more training and support in teaching outdoors, whether you're in a traditional classroom setting, new to EE, or adding more outreach education to your plate.
Format: This course will be a combination of independent online work and required group calls. We will be using an online platform called Moodle for independent work and Zoom for the calls (video and call-in options). Live calls will consist of breakout rooms/peer teaching, slideshow presentation, and the use of shared documents platforms like Miro and Google Slides.
