About This Event
EENC is excited to gather you together in a shared enthusiam for a good book and a good conversation! Each semester we'll focus on a new book, and we'll meet monthly via zoom to discuss the assigned readings. There will also be a regional field trip that is themed to the book of the semester.
2026 January - June
We'll be reading "The Light Eaters: how the unseen world of plant intelligence offers a new understanding of life on Earth" by Zoe Schlanger.
Our Zoom meetings will be the third Thursday of each month from 7pm - 8pm:

We're planning a regional guided field trip to some botanical gardens across the state in May - stay tuned!
Be sure to have the book by January so you can get the first email and reading assignment. We can't wait to gather with you in community!
