2025 Pre-Conference: Project WILD Workshop

Geared towards K-8 formal and informal educators. This 6 hour workshop focuses on integrating Project Wild hands-on environmental science activities with Cherokee culture and language. You don’t want to miss this special opportunity.  We will have dance, songs, games, stories, art projects, thoughtful conversations and more all wrapped up in the awesome hands-on environmental science activities of Project Wild!

• 6 hours of Criteria 1 for NC EE Certification, or 0.6 CEUs will be provided with an option to complete homework for an additional 4 hours of credit.  CEU's can be served up as science, literature, or culture.

• Please bring reusable cup, comfortable shoes, and dress for the weather.

• Lunch is included in the ticket price, and we'll do our best to meet as many dietary restrictions as possible. Please feel free to bring your own food items as needed.
