About This Event
The Guidelines for Excellence is a series of materials to help environmental educators hone their practice and programs to national standards for high-quality EE programming. This workshop will focus on the Environmental Educator Knowledge and Skills Guidelines for Excellence publication.
This workshop is for educators (formal, nonformal, and higher education) who want to:
Identify a goal to work toward and a guide for personal, professional, and programmatic development.
Understand the experiences and learning that will help educators foster environmental literacy, plan environmental education programs, and implement them.
Format: This course will be a combination of independent online work and required group calls. We will be using an online platform called Moodle for independent work and Zoom for the calls (video and call-in options).
Live Call Dates: Thursday, January 22 and Thursday, January 29 from 4:00 p.m.-5:30 p.m. Note: you must attend and participate in both calls to receive full credit for this course.

Limited to 25 students.
Eligible for 10 hours of Criteria I or continuing education credit for the NC DEQ EE Certificate.
Registration: $31.50 for EENC members, $35 for general registration.
