Learning From Children As An Environmental Educator (EENC Webinar)

Children are magnificent observers and want to know more about the places they are outside. In Learning from Children as an Environmental Educator Julie Thomson will share specific examples of learning from children she has experienced while working at the Eno River State Park, Occoneechee Mountain State Natural Area, and The North Carolina Arboretum. She'll cover approaches from toddlers through high schoolers, where children have surprised and taught her with their responses, and she's learned from them. She hopes this webinar will give you ideas to try with the children you work with.

Julie Thomson is an Environmental Educator who works with Muddy Sneakers and Chimney Rock. Previously she worked in the Youth Education department at The North Carolina Arboretum, and as the Naturalist at the Eno River State Park and Occoneechee Mountain State Natural Area.
