About This Event

In this webinar the North Carolina Center for Afterschool Programs will introduce the Afterschool and Industry Partnership Playbook to environmental education professionals and explore how out-of-school time programs can offer real-world STEM learning opportunities for their students while building lasting and sustainable partnerships with local EE organizations and businesses. Using the new Afterschool and Industry Partnership Playbook, attendees can learn practical strategies to identify potential out-of-school time partners, design mutually beneficial collaborations and programs, and meet goals to connect youth to meaningful career pathways in the field of Environmental Education. Participants will leave with access to the playbook, actionable tools, templates, and tables to facilitate and to strengthen community partnerships in order to inspire the next generation of North Carolina’s STEM workforce. After the webinar there will also be an opportunity to connect with a current cohort of out-of-school time providers who are actively looking for partnerships.

Format: This webinar will be completely online and uses Zoom and shared documents platforms like Miro and Google Docs.
