About This Event
Title: A Story about Red Wolves: How the Museum uses storytelling and science to help preserve one of the world's most endangered species.
Description: Spend the day learning about conservation and the magnificent red wolf species. Your day begins by exploring the 84 acres at the Museum of Life and Science and visiting our red wolf family in the Wolf Overlook Exhibit. Hear from one of our animal care team experts about the role the Museum plays in preserving the red wolf population. The second half of the day, you will participate in a Species Conservation program where we will take a deep dive into how the SAFE program works to help this most endangered species survive. You will learn how the Museum uses a combination of storytelling and statistics to engage all audiences and breakdown scientific concepts to better communicate the importance of this work. End the program by learning how you can do the same in your own classroom.
