The Piedmont and Western sections of the Environmental Educators of North Carolina are uniting to host a 2018 Mini-Conference at beautiful Camp T.N. Spencer Park in Concord, NC on June 15th, 2018. This conference will be a summer kick-off bringing together formal and non-formal educators who want to incorporate environmental education in engaging, innovative, and meaningful ways. Our theme, "Nature is Calling," invites participants to relax and unwind in our greatest classroom: the outdoors.
The mini-conference will be preceded by an optional networking breakfast at Camp T. N. Spencer from 8-9am and followed by an optional social at Cabarrus Brewing Co. starting at 5pm.
We are keeping the costs low to minimize any barriers of your attendance. Formal public or private school K-12 educators will attend at no charge (your fee will be reimbursed if you display your school badge/ID upon attendance). The charge for non-formal educators will be between $15 - $20. Your registration fee covers breakfast, a cook-out lunch, and light hors d'oeuvres at the evening social.
Want to know what to expect? Check our our mini-conference flier for more information! It includes the schedule for the day and a sneak peek at the session topics you'll enjoy throughout the day.
